The wrench refers to Ratchet’s melee weapon, the Omniwrench, while the Bolts refers to the currency in the Ratchet games. When you first enter the rainy section of Gusty Gateway, far in the distance to the right is a giant bird harassing/helping a Bot with a giant feather. This is a reference to the infamous The Last Guardian which eventually released in 2016 and was made by Team Ico. The Bot holding a feather refers to the game’s boxart, while the moment where he falls off and is saved by the bird references the E gameplay demo. Up the same cliff as the Ico easter egg, on the opposite side you can find a crowd observing a Bot teeing off with a golf club while wearing a PS VR headset. This references Everybody’s Golf VR by Clap Hanz, released in 2019.
Then throw the capsule at the blue cloud as shown in the second picture below. Astro’s Playroom was the final game released by Japan Studio before their dissolution in April 2021. Team Asobi was formally spun-off into an independent studio within Sony’s PlayStation Studios in June 2021. A full-length sequel, Astro Bot, was announced on May 30, 2024, and was released for the PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2024. Finally, as much as I adore Astro’s cute nature and attention to detail with its celebration of PlayStation nostalgia, I would have loved a more considered narrative on top of all that. There was once 88vv when pack-in bundled games were regarded as the very best games available for that new console.
Time To Beat
Use the clouds to reach the ledges on the wall opposite, and then climb up to the area above. Punch the tree directly in front of you by long-holding Square to perform a spinning attack. Cross the controller cable bridge to the island with the strong wind, and then a second controller cable bridge. Directly ahead is an Astro Bot in Ape Escape cosplay hiding in a bush.

Artifact 1/3 “Playstation 2” – As you progress upwards you will go by two cannons with an electrified mine moving back and forth just above them. To the right of the mine is a hole in the wall you can go into, then progress through the obstacles to find this artifact at the end. This Astro’s Playroom Collectible Guide lists everything in chronological order (all Artefacts and Puzzle Pieces in one playthrough). Jump onto the lilypads, and leap across, but be careful not to fall in the frozen water as that’s lethal!
Gpu Jungle Special Bot Location
Spin all three to raise the platform they are on, revealing this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – As soon as the level starts, turn around and head back across the platforms to find this puzzle piece. Puzzle Piece 2/4 – After reaching the next group of enemies circling a platform, go to the left where you can pull a wire and reach a tightrope. Puzzle Piece 1/4 – In the next section there are two groups of enemies walking in circles around a patch of dirt. Defeat both groups to reveal a plant that spawns some platforms when attacked, then jump over onto the tree platforms to find this puzzles piece.
