Become a braver performer and create a new professional interior design course world onstage from the ground up. Over the course of 3 weeks, students flex their creative muscles as writers, directors, and choreographers as they dig into the essential ingredients of acting, from characters to improv. Their work culminates with an original performance on our Steinbright Stage.
At MassArt, we offer youth and teen programs that encourage children and teens to dig in and try new things — without the fear of failure. They can stain their hands with ink and lead, get paint on their shoes, and clay under their fingernails. They find the space and the freedom to explore, learn, and grow.
The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter (15th Anniversary)
One of the items that will be available for purchase will be a Toothless Shoulder Buddy. Sessions explore a variety of methods and each month will focus on a new project/theme. Whether it’s a birthday, a bachelorette party, or simply a girls’ night out, we’ve got just the thing to make it an unforgettable occasion. We aim to ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff and will follow guidance from the CDC, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and local public health officials.

Summer Studios is an all-inclusive art space providing community classes for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels, since 2005. For the student who has taken several clay classes and feels comfortable making basic forms. Expect troubleshooting sessions and a variety of teacher lead demos.
The live-action How To Train Your Dragon arrives in theaters on June 13th, and Universal is celebrating with new merchandise at Island of Adventure’s Lost Continent, including a Toothless shoulder plush. It is also the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future this year, and you can display your love for the film franchise with lots of exclusive merchandise available this summer at Universal Orlando. There will be clothing, a snazzy license plate, and even a hoverboard pouch. Don’t sleep on this easy, irresistible berry crisp–it’s the ultimate summer dessert.
Additionally, in honor of Back to the Future‘s 40th anniversary, exclusive new merchandise will be available. Summer Art Studios classes are held on the historic, park-like grounds of UTSA Southwest, located at the intersection of Augusta and Navarro (across from the Central Library). At times, individual classes may include an off-site field trip as part of the learning experience. In those instances, it will be required that personal transportation is provided for each student. MassArt’s Winter Workshops are two-day programs offered each January and February, that give high school students a chance to explore the arts. An intensive four-week program for the young artist who is serious about their work.

I get asked a lot of questions about it; people seem to be interested in the story, the different parts of the project in terms of the text, the linoleum blocks, the prints, and the sound piece. I think it’s made people very curious and interested in learning more about TX288, its affect on the environment surrounding it, what it’s meant for Houston, and its history as a whole. It’s certainly made me more interested in exploring those things more deeply.
